For my soaps I use Stephenson Crystal Melt & Pour soap base.
Stephenson is a Leeds based company. They produce high quality and professionally made soap base with full documentation. Each of my soaps has the batch number of the soap base on its label.
The glycerin in the soap base is derived from vegetable sources and locks in existing moisture, as well as drawing moisture from the atmosphere which leaves a smooth skin feel. All melt and pour soap bases contain lye, water, glycerin, and oil.
On their website Stephenson claim that “Crystal Melt & Pour is used to produce some of the most innovative and aesthetically pleasing soap bars on the market”.
Well I must say from my own experience and from the feeedback I’ve received from everybody who has tried my soap, it is really great stuff with an excellent lather.
